Amending Order in Council authorizing the Manunui Town Board to erect Electric Lines in the Manunui Town District and Portion of the Taumarunui County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of May, 1929.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine and twenty-eight, published in the New Zealand Gazette on the tenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, authorizing the Manunui Town Board to erect electric lines in the Manunui Town District and portion of the Taumarunui County, by revoking clause six of the conditions thereof, and substituting the following clause:—

“The charges for electrical energy shall not exceed 1s. per unit for lighting purposes, and 6d. per unit for motor-power, heating, or cooking purposes; provided that “lighting purposes” shall include the operation of motor-generators for lighting purposes; and provided further, that if the accounts are paid within fourteen days of due date the charges shall not exceed 9d. per unit for lighting purposes and 4½d. per unit for motor-power, cooking, or heating purposes.”

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Block IV, Aparima Hundred, Southland Land District.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of May, 1929.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for the use of the Department of Agriculture over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 0 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Section 8 of Block V, Rangaroa Village: Bounded towards the north by Section 7 of Block V, Rangaroa Village, 1680·8 links; towards the east by Ohura South G 4b and part 4c Blocks, 266·3 links; towards the south-east by part Section 9 of Block V, Rangaroa Village, taken for railway water-supply by Gazette, 1907, page 2303, 151·4 links; towards the south by other part Section 9, Block V, Rangaroa Village, 1286·2 links; towards the west by East Street, 353·8 links and 175·6 links, respectively. Be the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/160, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Changing the Purpose of Part of a Reserve in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of May, 1929.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for quarry purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a recreation reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for quarry purposes to a recreation reserve.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, being part of Allotment 61 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 27·1 perches, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the westernmost corner of Allotment 60 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; towards the west generally by the Great South Road, 40·65 links, to the southernmost corner of other part of Allotment 61 aforesaid, containing 2 acres 3 roods 5·8 perches; thence towards the north-west and south-west generally by the last-mentioned part of Allotment 61, 672·17 links, 349·39 links, and 397·53 links, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 11 of Allotment 3 of Hamlin’s Grant; thence towards the north-west by the said Lot 11, 235·48 links, to the north-western boundary of Allotment 60 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; thence towards the north-east, south-east, and south generally by the aforementioned Allotment 60, 745 links, 227·54 links, 128·02 links, 790·26 links, and 362·55 links, to the point of commencement: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/503A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 24799, blue.)
