Declaring Crown Land in Otago Mining District, Southland Land District, open for disposal on Renewable Lease.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any Crown lands within any mining district to be open for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one hundred and fifty-fourth section of the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open on Tuesday, the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

SOUTH LAND DISTRICT.—OTAGO MINING DISTRICT.

Southland County.—Waikaka Survey District.

SECOND-CLASS LAND.

SECTION 3, Block IX : Area, 181 acres 3 roods 36 perches. Capital value, £750. Half-yearly rent, £15.

Weighted with £61, valuation for fencing ; payable in cash. Situated two miles and a half from Pukerau, by metalled road. The land, which is light in quality, is undulating to hilly. Altitude, approximately 500 ft. to 600 ft. above sea-level. About 80 acres are cultivable.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Otahuhu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre 0 roods 22·6 perches.

Portion of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 10 on D.P. 4094, being portion of Allotment 13, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, Block I, Otahuhu Survey District.

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated in the plan marked L. and S. 20/185, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2312, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of May, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Invercargill Hundred described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 0·3 perches.

Portion of Section 25 E.R., situated in Block XV, Invercargill Hundred.

In the Southland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2545, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2313, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of May, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto form portion of Pastoral Runs Numbers 55, 151, and 162, held under licenses dated respectively the eleventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and three, and the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five :

And whereas it is desired that the said parcels of land should be taken for the purposes of a road under subsection two of section two hundred and fifty-seven of the Land Act, 1924 :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection two of section two hundred and fifty-seven of the Land Act, 1924, hereinbefore referred to, do hereby take the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a road.

Situated in the Marlborough Land District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1598, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2276, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of May, 1929.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Subdivisions of the Waikekeno Block, Wellington Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act :
