ERRATA.—On page 1464 of New Zealand Gazette No. 38,
of the 23rd May, 1929, settlement land in Marlborough
Land District for selection on renewable lease, in line six for
“4th June” read “11th June.”
In the Schedule to the Order in Council dated 11th day of
May, 1929, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37,
page 1404, of the 16th day of the same month, exempting
Lynton Road, in the Mount Wellington Road District, from
the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928,
subject to a condition as to the building-line, read “Lot 64 on
plan P.W.D. 74542” in lieu of “Lot 64 on D.P. 20065.”

Revoking the Reservation over Portions of Scenic Reserves in
the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms portions of reserves duly set apart for scenic
purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value
thereon:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by
section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act,
1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes
over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Wha-
ngarei County, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 1 rood
22 perches, more or less, being portion of Omiru West No. 2
Block, and portion of Section 7, Block XVI, Mangakahia
Survey District, and being portions of the land set aside for
scenic reserve in New Zealand Gazettes, No. 1, 11th January,
1906, page 10, and No. 13, 15th February, 1906, page 535,
respectively, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on
the south-western boundary of part Omiru West No. 2 Block,
distant 264·7 links from the westernmost corner of that
block; thence in a north-easterly direction by boundaries of
part Omiru West No. 2 Block (scenic reserve), and portion
Section 7 (scenic reserve) bearing 76° 33′, distance 169·6
links, and bearing 42° 15′, distance 1757·8 links, respectively;
thence in a south-westerly direction by boundaries of the
aforesaid part Section 7 (scenic reserve), and part Omiru
West No. 2 Block (scenic reserve), bearing 243° 09′, distance
1059·3 links; thence in a north-easterly direction by
boundaries of Mangakahia No. 2B 2 No. 2A Block and 2B 2
No. 1 Block and the aforesaid part section 7 (scenic reserve),
bearing 41° 06′, distance 311·2 links, bearing 61° 27′, distance
1168·3 links, bearing 57° 01′, distance 392·1 links, bearing
62° 33′, distance 102·0 links; thence in a north-westerly
direction by boundary of the aforesaid part Section 7 (scenic
reserve), bearing 335° 02′, distance 99·6 links; thence again
in a north-easterly direction by boundary of the aforesaid
part Section 7 (scenic reserve), bearing 62° 51′, distance
415·7 links; thence in a south-westerly and south-easterly
direction by boundary of the aforesaid part Section 7 (scenic
reserve) bearing 186° 06′, distance 116·7 links, and bearing
165° 09′, distance 180·0 links, respectively; thence in a south-
westerly direction by boundary of the aforesaid part Section
7 (scenic reserve), bearing 242° 06′, distance 223·9 links;
thence in a south-easterly direction by the aforesaid part
Section 7 (scenic reserve), bearing 155° 02′, distance 100·1
links; thence in a south-westerly direction by boundaries
of the aforesaid part Section 7 (scenic reserve) and part Omiru
West No. 2 Block (scenic reserve), bearing 242° 06′, distance
960·4 links, bearing 222° 15′, distance 1771·2 links, bearing
256° 33′, distance 124·0 links; thence in a north-westerly
direction by boundary of a public road bearing 309° 09′,
distance 125·9 links, to the point of commencement. Be all
the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: As the same is
more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S.
4/284, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon in outline edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of
May, 1929.
