DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ROBERT LEITCH ANDERSON and ERNEST EDGAR, carrying on business as Merchant Tailors at No. 76 Princes Street, Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Anderson and Edgar,” has been dissolved as from the 25th March, 1929.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Ernest Edgar, who will continue to carry on the said business.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an extraordinary resolution duly passed by the shareholders of W. F. UTTING, LIMITED, on the 11th day of May, 1929, in accordance with the provisions of section 220 of the above Act, it was resolved as follows:—

“It is hereby resolved that, it being proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, it is advisable to wind up the company, and that the company be accordingly wound up voluntarily, and that WILLIAM ARCHIBALD KENDON, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 13th day of April, 1929, presented to the Honourable ARCHIBALD WILLIAM BLAIR, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by Violet Adelaide Ventry Smith, Married Woman, William Thomas Simons, Merchant; William Goodhew Dudley, Contractor; John Boyd, Auctioneer; Arthur Sidney Deverell, Draper; John Samuel Woolley, Chemist; and James Brake, Settler, all of Whangarei, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in New Zealand, creditors of and contributories to the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court at the Supreme Court at Auckland on Friday, the 7th day of June, 1929, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company who desires to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL.

POLL ON UNIMPROVED VALUES.

IN pursuance of section 42 of the Rating Act, 1925, I hereby declare that the following votes were cast at the poll for the adoption of the unimproved values in the Borough of Mount Eden, which was held on 6th May, 1929: For the proposal, 730; against the proposal, 1,124.

I therefore declare the proposal to be rejected.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held in the company’s registered office, Victoria Street, Hawera, on Monday, the 13th day of May, 1929, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at such meeting HORACE EDWARD ROBINSON, of Hawera, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.
