IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE ECLIPSE DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED, a Private Company incorporated under the above Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders held at Napier on 6th May, 1929, the following special resolution was passed in the manner provided by section 168 (6) of the Companies Act, 1908:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

TIMARU HARBOUR BOARD.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Harbours Act, 1923, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Timaru Harbour Board proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, being an undertaking which the Board is authorized to carry out—namely, the repairing, building-up, and strengthening of the Breakwater known as the Eastern Extension—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken by the said Board in order that access may be obtained to certain other lands from which the said Board has the right to quarry and take away such stone as it may require for the above public work; the said access is required so that the said stone may be conveyed by means of a tramway constructed over and through (inter alia) the said lands described in the said Schedule, and thence to the said Eastern Extension:

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Board, situated at Wharf Street, Timaru, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours, which are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, except on Saturdays, when such hours are from 9 a.m. to noon. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the said Board, at the Board’s said offices, Wharf Street, Timaru, aforesaid.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate area of parcels of land required to be taken: 28 acres. Description: Parts Rural Sections 8259, 8258, 6859, and 6296; coloured pink.

Situated in the Arowhenua Survey District.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of CARTER AND YEREX, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation), Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed by minute of 9th May, 1929:—

“That it having been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue in business, the company now go into voluntary liquidation, and Mr. EGERTON GILL, Public Accountant, Auckland, be, and he is hereby, appointed Liquidator of the company.”
