Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register.—Notice under the Mining Act, 1926.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of the provisions of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, that, unless sufficient cause to the contrary be shown to the Minister within three months from the date hereof, the mining privileges specified in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Carlton Social Club (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Land in Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for lease by public auction on Wednesday, the 19th of June, 1929, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., at the Courthouse, Taumarunui, in accordance with the provisions of the expired lease of the said section, originally granted under the Maori Land Administration Act, 1900, and regulations made thereunder.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Taumarunui County.—Taumarunui Township.
SECTION 7, Block III: Area, 1 rood 8 perches. Upset annual rental, £41 5s.
Situated in the Taumarunui Township, with a frontage to Miriama Street. Section level, and suitable for business purposes.
There is also a small shed situated on this section, for which the sum of £20 requires to be paid in cash.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
- The highest bidder shall be the purchaser.
- A half-year’s rent at rate offered, together with rent for broken period from date of sale to 30th June, 1929, and lease and registration fees, together with valuation for improvements (if any), to be paid on fall of the hammer.
- The terms of lease shall be for twenty-one years, with right of renewal for further similar terms, at rentals to be fixed by revaluation.
- Rental payments to be made half-yearly in advance on 1st January and 1st July.
- The lessee will pay all rates, taxes, and other assessments which may become due and payable in respect of the land.
- The lessee will keep the land free of noxious weeds.
- The lessee will keep all buildings, drains, and fences in good order and repair.
- The lessee will not carry on any offensive trade.
- The lessee will not sublet, transfer, or otherwise dispose of any interest in the land without the previous consent in writing of the lessor first had and obtained.
- Rental payments in arrears for thirty days, or a breach of the conditions of lease expressed or implied shall entitle the lessor to re-enter and determine the lease.
The lease and registration fee will be £1 1s.
The land is described for the general information of intending bidders, who are recommended, nevertheless, to make a personal inspection, as the Department is not responsible for the absolute accuracy of any description.
