puaka Survey District, to high-water mark of Tasman Bay ;
thence in a southerly, westerly, and northerly direction
along high-water mark of Tasman Bay to the point of com-
mencement excepting thereout—(1) All that area of land
being the City of Nelson; (2) all that area of land being the
Borough of Motueka; (3) all that area of land being the
Borough of Richmond; (4) all that area of land being the
Town District of Tahunanui.

(b) All that area of land in the Nelson Land District being
the whole of the Borough of Motueka, as at present constituted.

(c) All that area of land in the Nelson Land District being
the whole of the Borough of Richmond, as at present con-
stituted.

(d) All that area of land in the Nelson Land District being
the whole of the Town District of Tahunanui, as at present
constituted.

As the said areas are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 75221, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

(a) ALL that area of land in the Land District of Nelson,
being the whole of the City of Nelson as at present constituted.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 75221, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow
and marked “ City of Nelson.”

(b) All that area of land in the Land District of Nelson
being that portion of the County of Waimea, as at present
constituted which is not included in the area described in the
First Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of May,
1929.

Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the Waikokopu-
Gisborne Section of the Gisborne to Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the
Waikokopu-Gisborne Section of the Gisborne to Napier
Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in Block 6, Kopuawhara Crown
Grant District, Block I, Mahanga Survey District, marked
26 m. 40 chs. (which point is the termination of the middle-
line defined in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 23, of 4th day of
April, 1929, and shown on plan P.W.D. 75009), and pro-
ceeding thence generally in a northerly direction for a distance
of approximately 5 m. 2·25 chs., and passing in, into, through,
or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Blocks 6, 7, and 8,
Kopuawhara Crown Grant District, Block I, Mahanga Survey
District; Mahanga 1d3, 1d2, and 1d1 Blocks, Block II,
Mahanga Survey District; Umumango No. 2 Block, Block
XX, Nuhaka North Survey District; Takararoa No. 2 Block,
part Takararoa Block (D.P. 1759), and Paritu 2b1 and 2a
Blocks, Block XVI, Nuhaka North Survey District; and
terminating at a point on the northern boundary of said
Paritu 2a Block, marked 31 m. 42·25 chs. ; including all
adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads,
tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: All in the
Hawke’s Bay Land District. As the same is delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 75229, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of
April, 1929.

Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the Midland
Railway (Portion of Murchison Section).

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion
of the Midland Railway (portion of Murchison Section) shall
be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in Section 1, Block IX, Hope Survey
District, marked 67 miles (which point is identical with the
point marked 67 miles on plan P.W.D. 59303, mentioned in
a Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
10th day of July, 1924), and proceeding thence in a north-
westcrly direction generally for a distance of approximately
4 miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following
lands, &c.—viz., Section 1, Scenery Preservation Reserve
No. 1, Section 74, Section 6 (Stock Reserve), and Section 73,
Block IX, Hope Survey District; Provisional State Forest
Reserve, Section 17 (Scenic Reserve), Section 12, and Section
11 (Stock Reserve), Block XII, Matiri Survey District; and
terminating at a point in the said Section 11 (Stock Reserve),
marked 71 miles; including all adjoining and intervening
places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams,
and watercourses: All in the Nelson Land District. As the
same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74919, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of
April, 1929.

section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the
land in the Borough of Whakatane, described in the First
Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the
street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
