Result of Election of a Trustee of a Drainage District.

THE following result of the election of a trustee of a drainage district has been received from the Returning Officer, and is published in accordance with the provisions of the Land Drainage Act, 1908.

Rangitaiki Land Drainage District.—Penalty on Overdue Rates.

Wellington, 17th April, 1929.
IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, the ratepayers within the district constituted by the last-mentioned Act are hereby notified that 10 per cent. additional will be added to all rates for the year ended 31st March, 1929, unpaid on the 7th May, 1929.
Rates may be paid at any money-order office or to the “Collector of Rates,” Box 1659, Auckland.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by subsection (2) of section 4 of the Orchard-tax Act, 1927, I, George William Forbes, Minister of Agriculture, do hereby declare that the provisions of section 4 of the said Act shall apply with respect to the Rangiora Commercial Fruitgrowing District, declared as such pursuant to the provisions in that behalf of the Fireblight Act, 1922.

Child Welfare Amendment Act, 1927.
IN pursuance of the power vested in me by section 6, subsection (1), of the Child Welfare Amendment Act, 1927, I, Harry Atmore, Minister of Education, do hereby notify that the premises set forth in the Schedule below has been registered as from the date hereof as a Children’s Home for the purposes of the said Act.
