of £3,000 may be borrowed by the Wairoa Electric-power
Board.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
April, 1929.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Wairoa Electric-power Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”), has been authorized to borrow the sum of one hundred thousand pounds for electrical works and the sum of three thousand pounds has not been borrowed :
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said section”), to the borrowing by the said local authority of the said sum of three thousand pounds for the term hereinafter mentioned :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby prescribe that the said sum of three thousand pounds may be raised in respect of the said loan by the said local authority for a term expiring on the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and the said local authority is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum accordingly.

The South-western Side of Portion of Shetland Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, viz. :—
“That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to portion of the south-western side of Shetland Street, in the City of Dunedin, where the same abuts on Allotment 77, Township of Anderson, being also parts of Sections 8 and 10, Block III, Upper Kaikorai District, as the said portion of street is shown on the plan annexed hereto, and is thereon coloured brown and edged red to the centre-line thereof ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Shetland Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE south-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Shetland Street, fronting part Allotment 77, Township of Anderson, being part Sections 8 and 10, Block III, Upper Kaikorai District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75101, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown and edged red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Powderham Street, in the Borough of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, viz. :—
“That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the street hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of Powderham Street to which Subdivision 4, deposited plan No. 3709, being parts of Sections 256 and 257, Town of New Plymouth, has frontages ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Powderham Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as Powderham Street, fronting Subdivision 4, D.P. 3709, being part Sections 256 and 257, Town of New Plymouth. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75043, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twentieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, viz. :—
“That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to portion of the north-eastern side of that street in the City of Dunedin known as Durham Street, where the same abuts on Sections 6 and 7, Block III, Township of Richmond Hill, as the said portion of street is shown on the plan attached hereto, and is thereon coloured brown and edged with red to the centre-line thereof ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Durham Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
