At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
April, 1929.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation for a resting-place for
travelling stock over the land described in the Schedule
hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being
vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal
under the Land Act, 1924.

and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for a post-
office and telegraph-office over the land described in the
Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land,
being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal
under the Land Act, 1924.

over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown,
is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

ALL that area situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt, Wel-
linton Land District, containing by admeasurement
2 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Section 12, Mawai-
hakona Township, and being part Section 95, Block I, Rimu-
taka Survey District. As the same is delineated on plan
No. 237/21, deposited in the Wellington District Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon coloured red.

Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for public
buildings of the General Government over the land described
in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the
said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available
for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 28 perches, more or less, being Reserve
No. 3398 (formerly Section 11, Block XX, Town of Mackenzie),
situated in the Town of Mackenzie, and bounded as follows:
Towards the south-west by Rolleston Street, 100·0 links;
towards the north-west by Section 9, 198·46 links; towards
the north-east by Section 12, 109·35 links; and again towards
the south-east by Section 13, 154·22 links: All the aforesaid
sections being of Block XX of the Town of Mackenzie. As
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 6/1/448, deposited in Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Block VII,
Port Nicholson Survey District, Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day
of April, 1929.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for public
purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reserva-
tion over such land shall be changed to a military reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare
that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for
public purposes to a military reserve.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 54 acres 1 rood 26 perches, more or less,
being portion of an area of land set aside for public purposes
at Point Dorset in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District,
by notice published in New Zealand Gazette of the 20th October,
