Secondly, all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 24·3 perches, more or less, being part of Section 2 of 65, Block X, Oamaru Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by a public road, 570·4 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 318 links; and towards the south and south-west generally by a public road, 67 links, 198·9 links, 309·9 links, and 190·4 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 20/431, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of April, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL-ENDOWMENT LAND.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 99 acres 3 perches (be the same a little more or less), being Subdivision 3 on the plan 81/33, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and being part Section 3, Block VIII, Maungakaretu Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of April, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Waipoua Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 roods 5 perches.

Situated in Block VIII, Waipoua Survey District.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/182, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2304, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of April, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown Land subject to the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 15 acres 1 rood 2·5 perches.

Being Lots 32 and 33, L.T. Plan 402, being parts of Sections 57 and 58.

Situated in Block II, Oamaru Survey District.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75193, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
