Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter, so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted under the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

FIRSTLY, all that area comprised within the boundaries of the Borough of Naseby as at present constituted; and, secondly, all that area within the Otago Land District, being portions of Taieri, Maniototo, and Waihemo Counties, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the south-west corner of Block 13, Sutton District; thence north along block-line to the south-west corner of Section 1, aforesaid Block 13, then west along road-line to the south-west corner of Section 14, Block 5, Sutton District; then north to the northern corner of the aforesaid Section 14; then north-west along the south-west boundaries of Sections 10 and 9, Block 5, Sutton District, to the western corner of the aforesaid Section 9; then north-east along block-line to the boundary of Block 8, Strath Taieri District; then north-west along block-line to the western corner of Section 45s, Block 8, Strath Taieri District; then in a north-easterly direction along block-line to the northern corner of Section 43s, Block 8, Strath Taieri District; then south-east along block-line to the western corner of Section 4, Block 8, Strath Taieri District; then north-east and east along block-line to boundary of Block 9, Strath Taieri District; then north-east and east along such block-line to the south-west corner of Block 5, Strath Taieri District; then north-east along road-line forming the western boundaries of Sections 50, 49, 48, 46, 45, 44, and 43, Block 5, Strath Taieri District, to the northern corner of the aforesaid Section 43; then in a north-easterly direction along block-line forming the western boundaries of Blocks 5 and 2, Strath Taieri District, to the northern corner of the aforesaid Block 2; then north-west along boundary of Run 205E to the southern boundary of Block 9, Rock and Pillar District; then east along block-line to the south-east corner of the aforesaid Block 9; then north along block-lines being the boundaries of Blocks 10, 6, and 2, Rock and Pillar District, to the north-west corner of the aforesaid Block 2, then west along block-line to the north-east corner of Block 4, Upper Taieri District; then south and then east along block-line to the south-east corner of Block 1, Upper Taieri District; then south along block-lines being the eastern boundaries of Blocks 7, 10, and 15, Upper Taieri District, to the south-east corner of the aforesaid Block 15; then west along block-line to the south-west corner of the aforesaid Block 15; then north and east along block-line to the south-west corner of Block 10, Upper Taieri District; then north along block-line to the north-west corner of Block 10, Upper Taieri District; then in a westerly direction along block-line to the north-east corner of Section 20, Block 11, Upper Taieri District; then south along the eastern boundaries of Sections 20, 1, and 24, aforesaid Block 11, to the Taieri River; then north-west along such river to road-line; then across river and south along road-line, being the eastern boundary of Run 308E, to block-line, being the southern boundary of Block 12, Upper Taieri District; then west along block-line to Trig. E; then south-west to Trig. F, Upper Taieri Side District; then north-west to Trig. A, Upper Taieri Side District; then north-east to Trig.
