THE following notice, received from the Chairman, Otorohanga County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Mangatutu Bridge, No. 1 Special-rating Area.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Otorohanga to borrow a sum of £500 for constructing a bridge at Lethbridge's, over the Mangatutu Stream, the number of votes recorded were: For the proposal, 8; against the proposal, 2.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Parihorō Special-rating Area.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Otorohanga to borrow a sum of £300 for forming, culverting, and metalling five miles and a half of the Pirongia-Kawhia Main Highway, from Mangati Bridge to Ngutunui Bridge, the number of votes recorded were: For the proposal, 9; against the proposal, nil.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
