NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, Nelson Street, Auckland, on the 18th day of February, 1929, the following resolution was duly passed, and a copy thereof entered in the minute-book of the company in accordance with section 168 of the Companies Act, 1908 :—
“ That this company be wound up voluntarily, and that JAMES MILNE, of Auckland, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the company held at the company’s registered office, Wellington, on the 27th day of February, 1929, the undermentioned special resolutions were passed, and at a subsequent meeting held at the company’s registered office, Wellington, on the 14th day of March, 1929, the said special resolutions were confirmed :—
(1) That the company be required to be wound up voluntarily.
(2) That JOHN WILLIAM DAVYS be appointed Liquidator at a remuneration according to scale fixed by the New Zealand Society of Accountants.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £537 7s. 10s. authorized to be raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting the balance of the Council’s contribution required to be paid of the cost of constructing the Te Aroha Traffic Bridge, the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one two-hundredth part of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Piako ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Piako County Council held at Te Aroha on Tuesday, the 19th day of March, 1929.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other Acts, authorities, and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Waipawa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing and/or securing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of six hundred and fifty pounds (£650) authorized to be raised by the Waipawa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of tar-sealing Great North Road within the borough, the said Waipawa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eighteen one-hundredths of a penny (18/100 of 1d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waipawa Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Waipawa ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I, Harry, Albert Fletcher, Town Clerk, Waipawa, certify the above to be a true copy of a resolution passed by the Waipawa Borough Council at its meeting held on the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership heretofore existing between WILLIAM LEWIS and JAMES PATRICK in the business carried on at Number 19, Courtenay Place, Wellington, and known as the “London Pie Shop”, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 9th day of March, 1929.
The business will in future be carried on under the same name at the same address by the said WILLIAM LEWIS solely.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.
IN THE MATTER OF THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute a certain public work—to wit, the formation of a road—for which purpose the following lands require to be taken by the Waikato County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, section 22s and 23 (that is to say) :—
All that piece or parcel of land situated in the Parish of Kirikiriroa, containing by admeasurement three roods and twenty and five-tenths perches (more or less) intersecting Lot One on a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland under number 2691. Bounded towards the east by a road one hundred links wide, one hundred and six and five-tenths links ; towards the south-east by other part of the said Lot One eight hundred and fifty-seven and four-tenths links ; towards the south-west by a road one hundred links wide, one hundred and five-tenths links ; and towards the north-west by other part of the said Lot One, eight hundred and ninety-four links.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the residence of William Clarkin, Eureka. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing
