Signal Staff re-established.
Former Notice : Wellington Notice No. 43 of 1923.
Position: Lat. 39° 28' S., long. 173° 52' E. (approx.).
Details: The Signal Staff with which ships may communicate by International Code of Signals and by Morse lamp-flashing, has been re-established on the north-west head of the harbour.
Remarks: Opunake Township lights may be seen seaward for a distance of 14 miles.
