Land taken for the Purposes of a Technical School, in the City of Dunedin.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a technical school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Otago as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 34 1 perches
Being Lot 7 of L.T.P. 42, Section 25, and part Section 24.
Situated in Block XIII, Town of Dunedin (City of Dunedin).
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74365, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of March, 1929.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
ORAHIRI No. 1 Section 12, comprising Section 1, Block 1, Otorohanga Native Township. Approximate area, 1 acre 2 roods 14 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of March, 1929.

Declaring a certain Area added to the County of Stratford to form a New Riding to be known as the Ngatimaru Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 18, of the fourteenth day of the same month, the boundaries of the Counties of Clifton and Stratford were altered by the exclusion of a certain area from the County of Clifton and the inclusion of such area in the County of Stratford:
And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the County of Stratford should form a new riding to be known as the Ngatimaru Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-one of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Stratford shall, as on and from the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, form a new riding to be known as the Ngatimaru Riding of the said county; and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto; and that one Councillor shall be elected for the said Ngatimaru Riding.
SCHEDULE.
NGATIMARU RIDING, STRATFORD COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded on the west, north, and east by the county boundary from the south-western corner of Section 19, Block I, Ngatimaru Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 43, Block VI, Ngatimaru Survey District; thence along the north-eastern, northern, and western boundaries of that section to its south-western corner; thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 14 and 42, Block VI aforesaid, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the south-western boundaries of Sections 42, 40, and 38 to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 11, Block V, Ngatimaru Survey District, to the Waitara River; thence down the Waitara River to the south-western boundary of Section 19, Block V aforesaid; thence along that boundary to the south-western corner of the said Section 19, the point of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of March, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches.
Portion of Sections 13, Block VI, and 84, Block VIII, Leaning Rock Survey District; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 acres 0 roods 34 perches.
Adjoining Section 68, Block VI, Tiger Hill Survey District, Section 13 and Run 221k, Block VI, and Section 84, Block VIII, Leaning Rock Survey District; coloured green.
All in the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/9/316, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2298, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of March, 1929.
