A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Go-
vernment Railways Act, 1926, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General
Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 roods 34 perches.
Portion of Ruatangata 1b 4r 1, Block XV, Ikitara Survey
District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 2442.)
In the Wellington Land District: as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 140, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and
thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of March,
1929.

Plymouth Railway (Palmerston North Deviation), and for
Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Palmerston North
Deviation of the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway to take
further land, in addition to land previously acquired for the
purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-
diversion in connection therewith:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.
