Act, 1911; and doth hereby amend the said Order in Council by revoking clauses 1 and 2 of the Schedule thereof, and substituting therefor the following clauses:----

  1. ROUTE OF ELECTRIC LINES.

THE route commencing at the licensees’ generating-station situated at Wye Creek in Run 331, Block V, Coneburn Survey District, Otago Land District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction along portion of the Kingston Staircase Track and a public road, across the Kawarau River and along a public road either to the licensees’ substation situated on the right bank of the Lower Shotover River, in Block II, Shotover Survey District; or to Section 127, Block II, Shotover Survey District; thence across Section 127 and Section 124, Block II, Shotover Survey District, to a public road; thence in a northerly direction to Section 56, Block II, Shotover Survey District, and across the latter section to the right bank of the Shotover River; thence along the right bank of the said river to a substation, as occasion may require and as shown by a dotted line on the plan hereinafter described. As the said route is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70374, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY.

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (e) of clause 5 of the regulations.

The transmission voltage shall be approximately 11,000 volts between phases. The distribution voltage shall be approximately 400 volts between phases, and 230 volts between any phase and neutral.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land permitted to be taken:—

Consent to exercise by Chief Judge of Power of Amendment.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of January, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection eight of section seven of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1922, it is enacted that in all cases where an order is dated more than five years previously to the receipt of the application, the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court shall first obtain the consent of the Governor-General in Council before making any order thereunder:

And whereas application has been made under the said section to amend an order of the Native Land Court dated the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and three, appointing successors to the interests of Tirauke Mio (deceased), in the New Zealand Company’s Reserved Tenths (Provincial District of Nelson):

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Chief Judge exercising with regard to the said recited order of the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and three, all and every the jurisdiction granted to him by the said section seven, and to the making of any such order thereunder as may seem necessary or expedient.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in Block I, Te Tumu Survey District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 38·8 perches.

Being portion of Railway Reserve.

Situated in Block I, Te Tumu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25000.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74123, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
