Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway, Portions of Tokirima and Heao Sections.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway, portions of Tokirima and Heao Sections, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the Kokopu-iti Road on the eastern boundary of Section 24, Block XIV, Ohura Survey District, marked 27 miles 20 chains (which point is also the termination of the railway shown on P.W.D. 71405 and described in a Proclamation published in Gazette, No. 24, of 22nd March, 1928), and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 5 miles 3-1 chains, and passing in, into, through or over the following lands, &c.--viz., Section 21, Block XIV, Ohura Survey District; Sections 7, 17, 8, 12, 10, and 11, Block II, Heao Survey District; Ohura South K No. 1, Sections 2C 5A and 2C 5B Blocks; Maraekowhai A 2B No. 1 and A 2B No. 2, Block I, Heao Survey District; and Maraekowhai A No. 4C, Blocks I and V, Heao Survey District, and terminating at a point marked 32 miles 23 10 chains (which point coincides with a point marked 56 miles 57 chains on the centre-line of the railway shown on P.W.D. 64119, and described in a Proclamation published in Gazette, No. 71, of 15th October, 1925); including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the Taranaki Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73045, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of January, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Aroha and Wairere Survey Districts described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
