of Allotment 125, Parish of Kaiwaka: Bounded, commencing at a point on the eastern side of the road forming the western boundary of the aforesaid Allotment 125, bearing 13° 49′ 30″, distant 414·3 links from the south-western corner of the said Allotment 125; towards the west by the aforementioned road, bearing 13° 49′ 30″, distance 200·0 links; towards the north, east, and south by the other portion of the said Allotment 125, by lines bearing 103° 49′ 30″, distance 125·0 links, 193° 49′ 30″, distance 200·0 links, and 283° 49′ 30″, distance 125·0 links, respectively, to the point of commencement: Be all the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/196A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Robert Hamilton,
James Robert Haigh, and
William Forbury Sutton
to be Inspectors under the said Act in respect to the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—CURIO BAY SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area between high- and low-water marks, containing by admeasurement 12 acres, more or less, being Section 19, Block VIII, Waikawa Survey District. Bounded towards the west, north, and east generally by the road reserve adjoining Curio Bay and Section 9, Block VIII, Waikawa Survey District; and towards the south by the ocean, 1240 links and 1830 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/262, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 15th day of February, 1929.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Auckland and Otago Land Districts.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the seventy-first section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is further provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of lands acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 3 roods 26·4 perches, more or less, being Allotments 9A and part 10A, Hamilton West Town Belt: Bounded towards the north-east by Allotments 9 and part 10, Domain Reserve, Hamilton West Town Belt, 1815·04 links; towards the south-east by Bryce Street, 54·6 links; towards the south-west by Seddon Road, 1846·48 links; and towards the north by the Frankton–Hamilton Road, 73·1 links:
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 5·99 perches, more or less, being Allotment 8A, Hamilton West Town Belt: Bounded towards the north-east by Allotment 8, Domain Reserve, Hamilton West Town Belt, 101·6 links; towards the south-west by the Frankton–Hamilton Road and Seddon Road, 73·1 and 48·3 links; towards the north-west by Rosstrevor Street, 50 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/178B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (For recreation purposes.)
All that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being parts Sections 16s, 18s, and 21s, Puahue Settlement, Block V, Maungatautari Survey District: Bounded towards the north generally by a road, quarry reserve, and part Section 21s, Puahue Settlement, 65·0, 286·1, 170·1, 520·7, 381·8, 710·3, and 521·1 links; towards the east and south-east by parts Sections 21s and 16s, Puahue Settlement, 308·9, 229·6, and 701·2 links; towards the west by part Section 16s, Puahue Settlement, 210 links; and towards the south by a stream: Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/165A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 32 perches, more or less, being part of Section 7, Block XVI, Blackstone Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Section 21, Block XVI, Blackstone Survey District, 1,000 links; towards the north-east and south-east by other part of said Section 7, 195 links and 1,000 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 195 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 5229A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (As an addition to a site for a public school, Ida Valley.)

Notifying Land in Taranaki Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash, and for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedules hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash, and for cash or on deferred payments, respectively; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedules hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
For Sale for Cash.
Whangamomona County.—Pouatu Survey District.
SECTION 12, Block VII: Area, 21 acres 3 roods 12 perches. Upset price, £160.
This section is situated on the Tangarakau Road, about two miles and a half from its junction with the Raekohua Road. It is all in standing bush, some of which is suitable for milling.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
For Sale for Cash or on Deferred Payments.
Oeo Survey District.—Pihama Village.—Village Land.
SECTION 49, Block I: Area, 3 acres 3 roods 20 perches. Upset price, £100.
This section is situated on the South Road in the Pihama Village. It comprises good quality flat land, in grass, and is surrounded by live hedges.
