Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Wilfred Harold Chudley, of the Public Trust Office, Dannevirke, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Dannevirke, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters, and all previous appointments in this behalf are hereby revoked.

Frederick Young Andrews

to be a trustee in place of Percy Harold Edward Surrey, whose seat has become vacant by resignation, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Huirangi Public Cemetery.

John Roderick Mackay

to be a trustee in place of Daniel McKay, whose seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waipu Public Cemetery.

Randall McKay

to be a trustee in place of Herbert James King Winstone, who has left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Hanmer Plains Public Cemetery.

Leslie Stewart Mackie

to be a trustee in place of William Hudleston Le Fleming, whose seat has become vacant by resignation, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Otakeho Public Cemetery.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Military Forces.

STAFF.

Major H. C. Glendining, D.S.O., New Zealand Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Staff Officer-in-Charge No. 4 Regimental District, Hamilton, dated 30th November, 1928, and is appointed Assistant Adjutant and Quartermaster-General, Northern Command. Dated 1st December, 1928.

Captain G. Dittmer, M.C., New Zealand Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointments of Area Officer, Area 4A, and Adjutant, 1st Battalion, Waikato Regiment, Hamilton, dated 15th November, 1928, and is appointed Staff Officer-in-Charge (temp.) No. 4 Regimental District, Hamilton. Dated 1st December, 1928.

Lieutenant J. W. Barry, New Zealand Staff Corps, is appointed Area Officer, Area 4A, and Adjutant, 1st Battalion, Waikato Regiment. Dated 16th November, 1928.
