Election of Members of Auckland Transport Board.
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 6 (b) of the Auckland Transport Board Act, 1928, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Minister of Public Works, do hereby publish certified copies of the resolutions passed in terms of the said section by the Mount Albert, Mount Eden, and Newmarket Borough Councils, electing two members of the Auckland Transport Board, and also attached thereto copies of the written consents of the respective members so elected.
RESOLUTION.
Moved by Councillor J. H. Langley, seconded by Councillor A. A. Buckley, and carried unanimously.
“ That His Worship the Mayor, Mr. Leonard Edgar Rhodes, be the Mount Albert Borough Council’s nominee for election to the Auckland Transport Board.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a special meeting held on 13th November, 1928.

RESOLUTION.
Extract from Minutes of Special Meeting of the Newmarket Borough Council held on the 19th November, 1928.
The Mayor again called for nominations, when Mr. E. H. Potter, Mayor of Mount Eden, was nominated by Councillor Cooper.
There being no further nominations, it was resolved that the nomination of Mr. E. H. Potter by the Newmarket Borough Council for election to the Auckland Transport Board be approved, and the Town Clerk instructed to notify the Minister of Public Works in accordance with the provisions of section 6 (b) of the Auckland Transport Board Act, 1928.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true and correct extract from the minutes of the special meeting of the Newmarket Borough Council held on the 19th of November, 1928, for the purpose of nominating some person or persons for election to the Auckland Transport Board.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 6 of the Auckland Transport Act, 1928, the Auckland City Council doth hereby, by resolution, appoint—

Andrew Jack Entrican, and
Edward John Phelan
to be members of the Auckland Transport Board.
The foregoing resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Auckland City Council duly and properly convened for the purpose, and held on Thursday, the 15th day of November, 1928, in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Auckland.
