Pungapunga Riding.—All that area in the Auckland and Wellington Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the eastern boundary of the Borough of Taumarunui; thence northwards by the said eastern boundary of the Borough of Taumarunui to Whatawhata Trig. Station; thence easterly by the southern boundary of the Taringamotu Riding to the shore of Lake Taupo and southerly by the shore of Lake Taupo to the mouth of the Waihi Stream; thence by a right line forming the county boundary to Tongariro Mountain; thence down the middle of the Wanganui River to the point of commencement.
As required by section 100 of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the attached Schedule is a correct description of the proposed adjustments of boundaries of the Waimiha, Taringamotu, and Pungapunga Ridings, in the Taumarunui County, and is sufficient to render the new boundaries capable of identification as indicated by coloured borders on the litho, submitted by the Taumarunui County Council.—D. Otunui Riding.—All that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ongarue River in line with the northern boundary of Section 4B, Block II, Rangi Survey District; thence down the middle of the Ongarue and Wanganui Rivers to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Subdivision 3 of Koiro Block; thence to and along that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Subdivisions 4 and 5, Koiro Block, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned subdivision; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Subdivision 5 to its north-western corner; thence generally easterly and northerly along the northern boundaries of said Subdivision 5 and Subdivision 4 to the western boundary of Section 1, Block III, Heao Survey District; thence along the western boundary of said Section 1, to a point in line with the southern boundary of part K No. 1, Section 2C No. 4, Ohura South Block; thence to and along that boundary and northerly along the western boundary of the said block and its production to the middle of the Ohura River; thence up the middle of the Ohura River to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 7, Block XI, Ohura Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and the western and northern boundaries generally of Sections 7, 13, and 8 to Mona Trig. Station; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of Section 9, Block XI, Ohura Survey District to the western boundary of Lot 3 of Section 10, Block XI, Ohura Survey District (D.P. 4065); thence generally north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 3 to the western boundary of Section 1, Block XII, Ohura Survey District; thence north-westerly to the westernmost corner of said Section 1; thence north-easterly and northerly along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 1, Block VIII, Ohura Survey District, to the Ararimu Road; thence northerly across that road and westerly along its northern side to the western boundary of Section 12, Block VIII, Ohura Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 12, Block VIII, and 8, Block IV, Ohura Survey District, to Puketawai Trig. Station; thence easterly along the northern boundaries generally of Section 8 aforesaid, Sections 14 and 13, Block VIII, Ohura Survey District, Sections 8, 7, and 6, Block III, Rangi Survey District, to the western boundary of Section 4A, Block II, Rangi Survey District; thence by a right line to the north-west corner of Section 4B, Block II aforesaid; thence along the northern boundary of Section 4B and its production to the middle of the Ongarue River, the place of commencement.
As required by section 100 of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the attached Schedule is a correct description of the boundaries of the proposed Otunui Riding of the Taumarunui County, and is sufficient to render such boundaries capable of identification as indicated by a green border on the lithograph submitted by the Taumarunui County Council.—W. Kirikau Riding.—All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the north-western corner of Section 4, Block III, Hunua Survey District (Scenic Reserve); thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-western boundaries of Sections 4 and 2, Block III, Hunua Survey District, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 9, Block III, Hunua Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 2 and 6, Block VII, Hunua Survey District, and Sections 1 and 2, Block VIII, Hunua Survey District, to the Pokatea-Kokakanui Road; thence along that road and the southern boundary of Section 7, Block VIII, Hunua Survey District, and again along that road to the north-eastern corner of Section 8, Block VIII aforesaid; thence southerly and westerly generally along the south-eastern and southern boundaries of the said Section 8 to the Pokatea-Kokakanui Road; thence south-westerly generally along the southern side of that road to the north-western corner of Section 1, Block II, Kaitieke Survey District; thence along the western boundary of that section and the northern boundaries of Sections 6 and 1, Block I, Kaitieke Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block VIII, Retaruke Survey District; thence generally in a south-westerly direction along the north-western boundary of the said Section 2 produced to the middle of the Kokakariki Road; thence in a southerly direction along the middle of that road and the Te Rapa Road to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block XI, Retaruke Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of said Section 1 to its westernmost corner; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 4, Block VII, Retaruke Survey District, to the Waipahihi Stream; thence down the middle of that stream to the Wanganui River; thence up the middle of the Wanganui River to the point of commencement.
As required by section 100 of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the description of the boundaries of the Kirikau Riding within the Wellington Land District, as set out in the foregoing form of special order, is sufficient to render such boundaries capable of identification.—H. Special Order made by the Waimarino County Council altering Riding Boundaries (and adjusting Representation).

THE following special order, made by the Waimarino County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.
Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921–22, I hereby fix the 1st day of April, 1929, as the date on and from which the special order shall take effect.

SPECIAL ORDER ADJUSTING REPRESENTATION AND ALTERING RIDING BOUNDARIES.
THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by sections 23, 59, and 60 of the Counties Act, 1920, and of any amendment of the said Act, if any, and of every other power in that behalf enabling, the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That the present subdivision of the County of Waimarino into seven ridings is revoked, and in lieu thereof the said county shall be divided into six ridings, to be called Ruatiti Riding, Manganui Riding, Huikumu Riding, Parapara Riding, Ohakune Riding, and Karioi Riding, which said ridings are respectively described in the Schedule hereto attached.

That the said Waimarino County Council shall consist of seven members, who shall be elected as follows: The electors of the Manganui Riding shall elect two councillors, the electors of the Ruatiti Riding, Huikumu Riding, Parapara Riding, Ohakune Riding, and Karioi Riding shall each elect one councillor.
SCHEDULE.
Ruatiti Riding.—Commencing at a point where the northern boundary of the Waimarino County joins the Wanganui River, thence generally east by the said northern boundary of the Waimarino County to the south-eastern corner of Section 3, Block VI, Manganui Survey District; thence south-west along the northern boundaries of Sections 7, 6, 5, 14, 13, 12, 23, 22, and 20, Block X, Manganui Survey District, and the south-western boundary of the said Section 20, Block X, Manganui Survey District, to the Manganui-a-te-ao River; thence generally south-west by the Manganui-a-te-ao River to the north-eastern boundary of Waimarino Reserve No. 3; thence generally north-west and west by the north-east and north boundaries of Waimarino Reserve No. 3, Subdivisions J, H, G, and F, and Sections 9, 8, 7, Block XV, Whirinaki Survey District, being portion of Wanganui River Trust Endowment, and by Waimarino 5B No. 6 and Waimarino 5B No. 7 to the Wanganui River; thence generally north by the Wanganui River to the point of commencement.
Manganui Riding.—Commencing at a point where the southern boundary of the Ruatiti Riding, as hereinbefore described, joins the Wanganui River; thence generally east by the southern boundary of the Ruatiti Riding as aforesaid
