IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
James Aldridge,
George William Kime,
Frank Edward Owers,
James Walker,
John Walker,
Ernest George Wright, and
Herbert Fleming Wright
to be the Dunsandel Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, at ten o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the Domain Pavilion, Dunsandel, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Henry Garden,
John William Grant McIntyre,
John Herman Sorensen,
Edward James Weir, and
Frederick Herman Wilson
to be the Hirstfield Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and McKeown’s Tea-rooms, Orepuki, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

HIRSTFIELD DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 3 roods 21 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block X, Town of Hirstfield. Bounded towards the north-east by Denbigh Street, 528·1 links; towards the east by Frome Street, 858·5 links; towards the south-east by Aurum Street, 1122·7 links; towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 6 and 7 of said block, 1100 links; and towards the north-west by tramway reserve, 1392·5 links; excepting a water-race intersecting the above-described area.
Also all that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section No. 4, Block XI, Town of Hirstfield. Bounded towards the north by Falls Creek Sludge Channel Reserve, 155 links; towards the east by Grand View Terrace, 462·5 links; towards the south by Crown land, 110 links; and towards the west by the edge of the cliffs of Tewaewae Bay, 465 links.
Also all that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block XVII, Town of Hirstfield. Bounded towards the north-east by Denbigh Street, 155 links; towards the east generally by Grand View Terrace, 2050·8 links, 1004·9 links, and 680·9 links; towards the south by Falls Creek Sludge Channel Reserve, 170 links; and towards the west by the edge of the cliffs of Tewaewae Bay, 3730 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising on the Instalment System, extending over a Period of thirty-six and a half Years of the Sum of £6,500, being Portion of a Loan of £150,000 authorized to be raised by the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of November, 1928.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS section thirty-two of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), provides that where any local authority has heretofore been or shall hereafter be authorized to raise a loan, whether pursuant to a poll of ratepayers, or otherwise, and whether such loan has been raised in part or not, such local authority may, with the consent of the Governor-General in Council, raise such loan or any part thereof upon terms of making the same, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over such period of years, whether in excess of the period mentioned in the poll taken on the proposal for such loan or not, and payable at such times as may be fixed by such local authority, and may permanently appropriate and pledge for the purpose of securing such instalments any special rate already made, or hereafter to be made, or any part of such special rate:
And whereas the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) has been authorized to borrow the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds by a loan to be known as “Electric Works Loan, 1923”:
And whereas the said local authority is desirous of raising the sum of six thousand five hundred pounds, being portion of the said loan of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds, on the instalment repayment system, extending over a period of thirty-six and one-half years:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said sum of six thousand five hundred pounds upon terms of making the same, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a period of thirty-six and a half years, and the said Central Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum accordingly.
