ERRATUM.—In the Proclamation dated 15th October, 1928, revoking part of a Proclamation taking land for the Kaipara-Waikato Railway (Auckland-Westfield Deviation), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, of 25th October, 1928, page 3087, in the Schedule for “(part Lot 6, D.P. 10398)” read “(part Lot 1, D.P. 10398).”
Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
OKAHUKURA 8M 2c 1 Block, Tongariro and Pihanga Survey Districts: Approximate area, 5,070 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1928.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway :
And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1903, and section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land, public reserve, or public domain is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor-General may at any time, by Proclamation, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 2 acres 1 rood 27·6 perches.
Being Section 10, Block VIII, Heretaunga Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County. (S.O. 1620, red.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39947, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of November, 1928.
