Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block V, Sutton Survey District, Otago Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of Pastoral Run number 600 situated in the Sutton Survey District, and held under license dated the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty:
And whereas it is desired that the said parcel of land should be taken for the purposes of a road under subsection two of section two hundred and fifty-seven of the Land Act, 1924:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection two of section two hundred and fifty-seven of the Land Act, 1924, hereinbefore referred to, do hereby take the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 9 acres 0 roods 28 perches.
Portion of Run 600, Block V.
Situated in Sutton Survey District, in the Otago Land District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/7695, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2252, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of February, 1928.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
SECTION 3s, Kelso Settlement: Area, 143 acres.

Revocation of the Reservation of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a permanent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far only as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 163 acres 0 roods 2 perches, more or less, being part of Aponga State Forest No. 18 (Gazette, 1887, page 839), situated in Blocks VII and VIII, Mangakahia Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the west by part Rotokanae Block; towards the north-west and south-west by part State Forest No. 18; again towards the west by Section 7, Block VII, Mangakahia Survey District; towards the north by a road abuttal, towards the north-east and again towards the north-west by State Forest No. 18; again towards the north-east by the Aponga Stream and the aforesaid State forest; towards the east and south by the aforesaid State forest; thence towards the south by Section 3, Block XII, Mangakahia Survey District, a road abuttal, Section 1, Block XII
