Land in the Otago Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:

And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land heretofore held under renewable lease, has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.


SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.

SECTION 3, Block XXXVII, Town of Alexandra: Area, 10 acres 2 roods 39 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1928.

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.

SECTIONS 92 and 93, Block I, Blackstone District: Area, 25 acres 2 roods 6 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of November, 1928.
