with the written consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands first had and obtained.

  1. The lessee shall not take more than two crops, one of which must be a root-crop, from the same land in succession; and either with or immediately after a second crop of any kind he shall sow the land down with good permanent cultivated grasses and clovers.

  2. The lessee shall prevent the growth and spread of gorse, broom, and sweetbriar on the land comprised in the lease; and he shall with all reasonable despatch, remove, or cause to be removed, all gorse, sweetbriar, broom, or other noxious weeds or plants, as may be directed by the Commissioner of Crown Lands; and he shall, at the proper season in each year, clip and trim all gorse and other live fences on the land included in the lease.

  3. The lessee will keep all buildings, fences, ditches, drains, watercourses, gates, fixtures, and other things upon and about the land in good order and condition.

  4. The lessee shall, at the expiration of the term, yield up the whole of the land in permanent pasture of grasses and clovers.

  5. The lease shall be liable to forfeiture in case the lessee shall fail to fulfil any of the conditions of the said lease within thirty days after the day on which the same ought to be fulfilled.

Conditions twelve and thirteen apply only to the lands described in the Third Schedule.

  1. The public shall at all reasonable times have access on foot to all parts of the demised land not newly laid down in grass.

  2. The free right at any time to plant trees on the demised land, or to take possession of and fence off any portion of the demised land for the purpose of forming a football- or cricket-ground or a ground for sports of any kind, is reserved to the lessor.

  3. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

The reserve is described for the general information of intending bidders, who are recommended, nevertheless, to make a personal inspection, as the Department is not responsible for the absolute accuracy of any description.

Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained at this office.
