power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Revoking certain War Regulations under the War Regulations Continuance Act, 1920.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of September, 1928.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the War Regulations Continuance Act, 1920, it is enacted that the War Regulations specified in the Second Schedule to the said Act shall as adapted for the purposes of the said Act and as set out in that Schedule continue in force until revoked by the Governor-General in Council:
And whereas the several regulations referred to in the First Schedule hereto have been revoked by the respective Orders in Council referred to in the First Schedule hereto:
And whereas pursuant to the said Act the regulations referred to in the Second Schedule hereto have been amended by the respective Orders in Council referred to in the Second Schedule hereto:
And whereas it is expedient that further revocation should be effected as hereinafter appears:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers him in this behalf enabling, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke such of the War Regulations set out in the Second Schedule to the said Act as are described in the Third Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect on the publication hereof in the Gazette: Provided that nothing herein contained shall affect the continuing validity of the regulations set out in the Second Schedule to the said Act, and remaining in force, as the same are described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.
