DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned ALBERT EUGENE COOKSLEY and ERNEST GEORGE BECKBESSINGER, of New Plymouth, Manufacturers’ Agents and Wholesale Confectioners, carrying on business at New Plymouth under the style or firm name of “Cooksley and Company,” was, on the 28th day of August, 1928, dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said Albert Eugene Cooksley, by whom the business will in future be carried on.

NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school the following land—namely, All that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland containing two (2) acres, more or less, being part of Allotment No. 251 of the Parish of Waiuku East, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title Vol. 88, folio 103, of the register-book in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland.
A plan of the said land is deposited at the post-office at Waiuku, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto carried on by the undersigned under the style or firm of “McCallum, Mills, and Co.,” Barristers and Solicitors, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. Each of the former partners will continue to practise on his own account.

OTANE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers and authorities (if any) it in that behalf thereunto enabling, the Otane Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing and/or securing the interest, sinking fund, and all other charges on a loan of £900, authorized to be raised as a joint loan by the Patangata County Council and the Otane Town Board under the above-mentioned Acts, of which the Patangata County Council has authorized the loan of £565 and the Otane Town Board the loan of £335 for the purpose of repaying their respective agreed proportions of the maturing loans on the Otane Town Hall and the Otane Recreation-ground, but limited by and subject to the authority given to the Otane Town Board by the Local Government Loans Board in that behalf, the said Otane Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 55/100ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Otane Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable half-yearly on the 20th day of March and the 20th day of September in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution made and passed by the Otane Town Board at an ordinary meeting held at the Board’s office at Otane on Monday, the 5th day of March, 1926.
