NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at 152 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the 7th day of September, 1928, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the company showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators, and to decide how the books and documents of the company are to be disposed of.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of STANDARD PORCELAINS (N.Z.), LTD. (in Liquidation).

IN pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, a meeting of shareholders of STANDARD PORCELAINS (N.Z.) LTD. (in liquidation), will be held in the Accountants’ Chambers, 39 Johnston Street, Wellington, on Friday, 14th September, 1928, at 12 o’clock noon.

Business: To receive the accounts of the company.

In accordance with the resolutions passed by the shareholders in general meeting the assets of the company have been transferred to Messrs. Metters (N.Z.) Ltd., and shareholders in Standard Porcelains (N.Z.) Ltd., have received scrip covering their holding in Metters (N.Z.) Ltd.

THE UNITED M. AND E. WATER-RACE COMPANY (REGISTERED).

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the UNITED M. AND E. WATER-RACE COMPANY (Registered).

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 21st day of July, 1928, and confirmed at another extraordinary general meeting duly convened and held on the 11th day of August, 1928.

“That is is expedient to effect an amalgamation of this company with Kildare Consolidated Gold-mining Company, Limited, and that with a view thereto this company be wound up voluntarily, and that FRANK MORTIMER PYLE, of Hawkdun Station, Oturuhua, be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

New Zealand Statutes for Sale.

THE price of the New Zealand Statutes for 1928 has been fixed at 22s. 6d. for cloth and 27s. 6d. for half-calf. Postage, free.

To meet the demand for earlier publication of the new enactments it has been decided to issue loose Acts on a subscription basis to those who also order a bound copy of the Statutes.

The following are the rates of subscription:—

(a) One complete set of loose Acts and one annual volume bound in half-calf: Combined subscription (postage free).. .. .. 2 17 6

Orders should be forwarded to the Government Printer as early as possible in order that arrangements may be made for the printing of extra supplies of Acts.
