Roumania as if it were amongst the foreign countries of the
Copyright Union named in paragraph one of the said Order,
subject to the following modifications :—
(1) The provisions of paragraph (2), proviso (iii) (a), of the
said Order shall apply as if Roumania were included amongst
the foreign countries named in those provisions.
(2) In the application of the provisions of paragraph (3) of
the said Order to works of which the country of origin is
Roumania “ the commencement of this Order ” shall be sub-
stituted for “ the commencement of the said Act ” and for
“ the commencement of the said Order.”
(3) In the application to such works of section 3, sub-
section (2), paragraph (d) and section 25 of the Copyright Act,
1913, “ the commencement of this Order ” shall be sub-
stituted for “ the commencement of the said Act ” in section 25,
subsections (7) and (8), wherever that expression occurs.
(4) In the application to such works of the provisions of
section 32 of the Copyright Act, 1913, “ the commencement of
this Order ” shall be substituted for “ the commencement of
the said Act ” wherever that expression occurs in subsection (l),
paragraph (a) and for the 1st July, 1913, in subsection (l),
paragraph (b).
This Order shall come into operation on the sixth day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight,
which date is in this Order referred to as “ the commencement
of this Order”

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section nineteen of the Post and Telegraph
Amendment Act, 1927 (hereinafter termed “ the
said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may, by
Order in Council, make such regulations as he thinks proper
in protection of the rights of the Post and Telegraph Depart-
ment in any official publication or in protection of the interests
of any person in any advertisement appearing in or on any
such publication ; and, in particular, may by such regulations
prohibit, save with the authority of the Minister of Telegraphs,
the publication of any list of subscribers to the telephone with
the appropriate telephone numbers, or may prohibit the supply
or use of any cover or other device that would obscure any
advertisement appearing in or on any such publication, and
may prescribe the maximum penalty to be imposed for a
breach of any such regulation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act,
and in exercise of the general authority conferred on him by
section thirteen of the Post and Telegraph Amendment Act,
1922, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the
regulation set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
64A. (l) Save with the authority of the Minister no person
shall—
(a) Publish any list of subscribers to the telephone with
the appropriate telephone numbers ; or
(b) Supply or use any cover or other device which has the
effect of obscuring any advertisement appearing
in or on any official telephone directory or other
official publication of the Department.
(2) Any person who commits a breach of this regulation
shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £50.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section three of the Kauri-gum
Industry Amendment Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby
exclude from the area set apart under the said Act for the
purpose of promoting the systematic recovery of kauri-gum
and other valuable products contained therein, the land
described in the Schedule hereto, such land having been so set
apart by an Order in Council dated the sixth day of January,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and gazetted on
the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-two.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 2, Block II, Mangawai Survey District : Area,
87 acres l rood 10 perches.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
all other powers and authorities in anyway enabling him
in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby proclaim and declare that the Native land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of a road, and that the said land shall vest in His
Majesty the King as from the twenty-second day of August,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 3 rood
19.5 perches.
Being portion of Native land.
Situated in Block II, Waoku Survey District (Auckland
