declare that from and after the date hereof the land com-
prised in the piece of closed road described in the First
Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endow-
ment for primary education described in the Second Schedule
hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 15 perches, more or less, being
Section 36, Block XIII, Ohinewairua Survey District, as the
same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and
S. 16/1509, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by
admeasurement 9 acres l rood 36·l perches, more or less, being
Sections 34 and 35, Block XIII, Ohinewairua Survey District,
excepting thereout an area of 2 roods 8·9 perches proclaimed as
a road by Proclamation published in Gazette of the 13th October,
1927, page 3232.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under
the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of January,
1928.

Declaring Town Lands to be subject to the Provisions of Section 10
of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section ten of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1927, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson,
Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto,
being lands classified as town lands and being available for
disposal by way of sale under section one hundred and thirty
of the Land Act, 1924, to be subject to the provisions of the
said section ten.

Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the area of settlement land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is
hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of
sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in
the manner provided in the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.-SETTLEMENT LAND.
LOT 2 of Section 38s, Orongo Settlement : Area, 25 acres
2 roods ll perches.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks VI and X, Norse-
wood Survey District-viz., a Deviation of the Napier to
Wellington (via Wairarapa) Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public
Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and
authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
middle-line of the road desired to be constructed over Blocks
VI and X, Norsewood Survey District-viz., a deviation of the
Napier to Wellington (via Wairarapa) Main Highway--shall be
that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the Napier-Wellington (via Waira-
rapa) Main Highway near the south-eastern corner of part Lot 8
on D.P. 1210, Block X, Norsewood Survey District, and pro-
ceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, passing
in, into, through or over the said part Lot 8, Lot 7, D.P. 1210,
Blocks X and VI, and Lot 6, D.P. 1210, Block VI, Norsewood
Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said main
highway opposite the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 6,
D.P. 1210, being a distance of 40·28 chains, more or less ; in-
cluding all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves,
roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. All
in the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 69994, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon marked A-B.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of
January, 1928.
