NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders
held on Monday, the 9th July, 1928, an extraordinary
resolution was carried whereby it was decided that the com-
pany proceed into voluntary liquidation.

LOWER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amend-
ments, and the Lower Hutt Borough Council Empower-
ing Act, 1927.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt Borough
Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the
above-mentioned Acts and all other Acts and powers enabling
it in that behalf, all that piece or parcel of land situate in the
Borough of Lower Hutt containing 28·3 perches, more or less,
being part of Section 35, Hutt District, and being the whole of
the land comprised in certificate of title Vol. 348, folio 28,
Wellington Register-book, for the purpose of widening Bruns-
wick Street in the said borough: And notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is de-
posited in the public office of the Lower Hutt Borough Council,
Main Street, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection
(without fee) by all persons during the ordinary office hours,
and that all persons affected by the taking of such land should,
if they have well-grounded objections to the taking of such
land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Lower Hutt Borough Council, addressed to the Town
Clerk at the said office.
Dated at Lower Hutt, this 1st day of August, 1928.

A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows:—
Ordinary Weekly Gazette: For the first 32 pages, 9d.
increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or
part thereof; postage, 1d.
Supplementary and Extraordinary Gazettes: For the
first 8 pages, 6d.; over 8 pages and not exceeding
32 pages, 9d.; increasing by 3d. for every subsequent
16 pages or part thereof; postage, 1d.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line
for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and
any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by
the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding
publication.
