THE following Notice to Mariners, which has been received
from the Department of Navigation, N.S.W., is pub-
lished for general information.

AUSTRALIA.—EAST COAST, N.S.W.—PORT OF NEWCASTLE.
Alteration in Bull Beacon Lights.

  1. Front light—
    Position: On the southern wave-trap (inner guide wall).
    Lat. 32° 55′ 28″ south, long. 151° 47′ 37″ east.
    Abridged Description: Fixed white light.

Alteration: Illumination altered to electricity. The
new beacon consists of a concrete pillar, surmounted
by a triangle, apex up, painted black and white hori-
zontally.

  1. Rear light—
    Position: Inner part of southern breakwater. Lat. 32°
    55′ 29″ south, long. 151° 47′ 45″ east.
    Abridged Description: Fixed white light in a red-painted
    skeleton tower.
    Alteration: Altered from a fixed white light to a fixed
    red light, electrically illuminated. No alteration has
    been made to the beacon tower.
    Leading Lights, 103° 200 yards apart.
    Chart affected: No. 2119.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by
resolution of the Wellington Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions
of the Land Act, 1924, and the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments.
