Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the Town District of Glen Eden, at Glen Eden.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Glen Eden Town Board, and shall be maintained by the said Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 30·4 perches.
Portion of Railway Reserve in Proclamation 500.

Situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District, Glen Eden Town District. (S.O. 24367, blue.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39685, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of May, 1928.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Subdivisions of the Waikanae, Kairau mati, and Moehau Blocks, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of section fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1927, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
