NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders held in the company's registered office at Waihi on Thursday, 7th June, 1928, the following resolution was passed:—
“ That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that H. F. O. Twigden, Public Accountant, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.” Dated at Auckland, this 8th day of June, 1928.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hutt County Heretaunga Water-supply Loan of £700, 1928, authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of constructing a water-supply, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty one-hundredths (20/100ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the No. 26 Special-rating District, being portion of the Heretaunga Riding in the County of Hutt, being more particularly described in the Schedule at the foot hereof, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 30th day of September and the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All those lands in Sections 85, Block IV, Belmont Survey District, 86, 87, and 88, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, Wellington Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 2096, on the Wellington-Wairarapa Main Highway; thence north-westerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 1 to the southern boundary of Lot 2, D. P. 2096; thence along the northern boundary of the said Lot 2 to its eastern boundary; thence generally along the eastern boundaries of Lots 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 2096, to the southern side of Barton Road; thence north-easterly along the said side of Barton Road to a point opposite the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 2568; thence across the said road and north-westerly along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 4617; thence south-westerly along the northern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 4617, to the eastern boundary of D.P. 2872; thence north-easterly, south-westerly, south, and southwesterly along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said D.P. 2872 to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Section 87, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District; thence north-westerly along this boundary to its junction with its northern boundary; thence generally along the northern boundaries of Sections 87 and 86, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, to the western boundary of the said Section 86; thence south-westerly along this boundary to the northern boundary of part Section 85, Block IV, Belmont Survey District (area, 1 acre); thence south-westerly and southeasterly along the northern and western boundaries of the said part Section 85, to the Wellington-Wairarapa Main Highway; thence generally along the north-western side of the said main highway to the point of commencement.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION INCREASING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hutt County Heretaunga Water-supply Loan of £700, 1928, authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of constructing a water-supply, the said Council, pursuant to section 23 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, hereby increases to twenty-two one-hundredths (22/100ths) of a penny in the pound sterling the special rate of twenty one-hundredths (20/100ths) of a penny in the pound sterling made and levied by resolution passed by the said Council on the 8th day of June, 1928, on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the No. 26 Special-rating District, being portion of the Heretaunga Riding in the County of Hutt, such rate of twenty one-hundredths (20/100ths) of a penny in the pound sterling being insufficient to provide for payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on such loan, and that such special rate (as increased) shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 30th
