section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the
land in the City of Wellington described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the street
described in the Second Schedule hereto.

New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
Wakamarina Survey District described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road
described in the Second Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes of the Taieri Plain flood-
protection works : and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of June,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public
Works Amendment Act, 1913, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General
Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken (subject to an unregistered deed of lease dated the
twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-seven, in favour of William Bryant, of Otokia,
Farmer, for a term of twelve years from the thirtieth day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven), for
the purposes of the Taieri Plain flood-protection works; and
I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the twentieth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-eight.
