THE FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE MOTOR AND WHEELWRIGHT CO., LTD.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE MOTOR AND WHEELWRIGHT Co., LTD. (in liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 30th day of June, 1928, to send in their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any) to THOMAS JOSEPH RYAN, Public Accountant, Post-office Box 13, Morrinsville, and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Te Kuiti Racing Club at a meeting held on the 16th day of May, 1928, at Te Kuiti, with a recommendation by the Chairman of such Club, Mr. A. F. Howarth, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-General in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. A. F. Howarth, the Chairman of such Club, and the meeting moved, and Mr. J. D. Vernon seconded, and it was resolved that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:
TE KUITI RACING CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf the Te Kuiti Racing Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as "the said club"), doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the Auckland Province situated in the district of Auckland, and known as the Ellerslie Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette.

In these regulations the words "bookmaker," "racing club," and "race meeting" shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms respectively by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the racecourse above described while the same is used or occupied by the said club for a race meeting, namely:—
(a) Bookmakers.
(b) Bookmakers’ clerks, bookmakers’ assistants, and bookmakers’ agents.
(c) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any racing or trotting club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere if affiliated to the New Zealand Racing Conference, or the New Zealand Trotting Conference, or the New Zealand Trotting Association.
(d) Common prostitutes and persons who habitually consort with thieves or persons who have no lawful visible means of support.
(e) Professional tipsters, persons convicted of house breaking or pocket picking, forgery, uttering or possessing counterfeit coin, theft, false pretences, receiving stolen goods, mischief, assault, or any offence or crime of any kind under the Crimes Act, 1908, and also idle and disorderly persons, rogues, and vagabonds, and incorrigible rogues convicted under the Police Offences Act, 1908, and persons convicted of an offence under the Gaming Act, 1908.
Provided always that the Stipendiary Stewards’ Committee appointed by the New Zealand Racing Conference, upon being satisfied by evidence as to character and otherwise that any person who, by reason of any conviction, comes within the scope of this regulation, should have relief from the effect thereof, may grant exemption to any such person,
and may at any time revoke any such exemption without notice to such person, and without assigning any reason for such revocation.
The foregoing regulations of the Te Kuiti Racing Club were made and passed by such club on the 16th day of May, 1928, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
TAKE notice that the Partnership heretofore existing between SELINA IMOGEN FRANCES FROST and FLORENCE ETHEL FROST, under the style of "Celeste et Cie," at Auckland, has been dissolved as from the 1st day of May, 1928.
As from that date the said Selina Imogen Frances Frost shall carry on the said business under her own name.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an order made by the Honourable Mr. Justice Reed on the 20th day of April, 1928, the name of THE WELLINGTON FARMERS' MEAT AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY, LIMITED, was ordered to be restored to the Register of Companies at Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that the registered office of the above-named company has been removed from Broadway, Reefton, to the offices of Messrs. McMahon and Lee, Auctioneers, in Bridge Street, Reefton, and that the name of the Secretary is THOMAS HUBERT LEE, of Reefton, in lieu of Mr. S. G. Pascoe, resigned.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1924, and their amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work—namely, for street purposes, Willis street and Old Customhouse Street, in the City of Wellington—and for the purposes of such public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken:
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing 11·57 perches, being part Lot l, D.P. 1886, part Section 205, Town of Wellington, and coloured red on the said plan.
