the Gazette of the fifth day of February then instant, setting
apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under
the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as
it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

SECTION 9, Block X, Mapara Survey District : Area, 208 acres
1 rood.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of May,
1928.

Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the eighteenth day
of January, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and
published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of January
then instant, setting apart settlement land for selection by
discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule
hereto.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.โSETTLEMENT LAND.
SECTION 10s, Te Miro Settlement : Area, 225 acres 2 roods.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued

Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke
the Proclamation made on the thirteenth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in
the Gazette of the sixteenth day of March then instant,
setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers
under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far
as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 4, Block II, Opoiti Survey District : Area, 650 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of May,

twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in
Wanganui Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 7 acres
1 rood 38 perches.
Adjoining Section 147, Block XIV, Wanganui Survey District.
In the Westland Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1551,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2260, and thereon coloured
green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this
behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule
hereto (and which was taken for a portion of the Paeroa-
Pokeno Railway and which is no longer required for such
purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New
Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be
maintained by the Waikato County Council in like manner as
other public highways are controlled and maintained by the
said Council.
