Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
MATAHIHA B 2 Block, containing an area of 154 acres 1 rood 11 perches, more or less, situate in Block II, Mata Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 80, folio 134, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.
Part Matahiha A 2 Block, containing an area of 982 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, situate in Blocks II and III, Mata Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 80, folio 138, of the Land Registration District of Gisborne.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of May, 1928.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the Gazette of the ninth day of November then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 7, Block XI, Karioi Survey District: Area, 580 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of May, 1928.
