HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Military Forces:—
STAFF.
Major P. H. Bell, D.S.O., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Staff Officer-in-Charge of No. 11 Regimental District, and is seconded for service with the Samoa Military Police, and is appointed Officer Commanding Samoa Military Police. Dated 10th April, 1928.
Captain F. L. Hunt, N.Z. Staff Corps, is appointed Staff Officer (temporary) in Charge of No. 11 Regimental District, and retains the appointment of Area Officer, Area 11A, Dunedin. Dated 10th April, 1928.
Captain W. Pollard, Royal N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, 2nd Brigade, N.Z. Field Artillery, Palmerston North, with effect from 4th May, 1928, and is appointed Artillery Instructor, Dunedin. Dated 16th May, 1928.
Lieutenant I. R. Withell, Royal N.Z. Artillery, is appointed Assistant Area Officer, Area 11A, Dunedin, and retains the appointment of Artillery Instructor, Dunedin. Dated 10th April, 1928.
Lieutenant I. R. Withell, Royal N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of Artillery Instructor, Dunedin. Dated 15th May, 1928.
Lieutenant J. W. Barry, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Area Officer, Area 9A, and Adjutant, 1st Battalion, Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast Regiment, Nelson, and is seconded for service with the Samoa Military Police. Dated 10th April, 1928.
