A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the fifth section of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation of the twenty-ninth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and do declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said land shall be and is hereby withdrawn from disposal on village-settlement conditions.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 4, Block X, Township of Orari : Area, 1 rood 5 perches.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the eighth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 7, Block XI, Kawhia South Survey District : Area, 213 acres.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through the Rangitoto-Tuhua 57b No. 2 Block, Taranaki Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the thirteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 11 acres 2 roods.

Portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua 57b No. 2 Block, situated in Block V, Totoro Survey District.

In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/772, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2258, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of May, 1928.

Abolishing the Te Awamutu - Pirongia Railway District and dissolving the Board thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Local Railways Amendment Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the Te Awamutu-Pirongia Railway District, as constituted by a Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the twenty-third day of the same month, and do hereby declare the Te Awamutu-Pirongia Railway Board elected by the ratepayers of the said district to be dissolved as from the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of May, 1928.
