IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the MANAKAU SAWMILLING CO., LTD.
THE following extraordinary resolution has duly been signed in the minute-book of the company pursuant to section 168 (6) of the Companies Act, 1908:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
By the same resolution, LESLIE HAROLD HOLLAND, 55 Campbell Street, Wanganui, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

NOTICE OF LIQUIDATION OF COMPANY.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the CHEDDAR VALLEY CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY CO., LTD., held on the 26th day of March, 1928, resolutions were unanimously passed that the company go into voluntary liquidation owing to the diversion of the cream supply, and that Mr. THOMAS HENRY PEARSON be appointed Liquidator.
A further extraordinary general meeting of shareholders was held on the 23rd day of April, 1928, when the said resolutions were duly confirmed.

NOTICE is hereby given that by entry in the minute-book of the company, pursuant to section 168 of the Companies Act, 1908, on the 17th day of February, 1928, the following resolution was passed:—
(1) “That it having been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the company be wound up accordingly.
(2) “That Mr. JOHN LAURENCE ARCUS, of Wellington, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator of the company for the purposes of such winding-up.”

In the matter of a Bill to be intituled “An Act to extend the objects of a certain Trust created by the late John Edson of the City of Auckland, Gentleman, primarily for the Acquisition of an Organ for the Methodist Theological College at Auckland.”
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the Standing Orders relating to Private Bills, that a petition will be presented to the General Assembly of New Zealand at its ensuing session, and application will be made for leave to bring in a Bill to be intituled “An Act to extend the objects of a certain trust created by the late John Edson of the City of Auckland, Gentleman, primarily for the acquisition of an organ for the Methodist Theological College at Auckland,” and that the objects of such application and Bill will be to extend the objects of a certain trust relating to the acquisition of an organ for the Methodist Theological College at Auckland created by John Edson, late of the City of Auckland, Gentleman (deceased), by Deed of Declaration of Trust dated the 28th day of May, 1918, and made between the said John Edson of the one part and The Guardian Trust and Executors Company of New Zealand, Limited, of the other part, by providing as follows or to the like effect:—
(a) That the capital of the fund now held upon the trusts of the said Deed shall henceforth be held upon the trusts and applied for the purposes and in manner hereinafter set forth, that is to say,—
(i) Such portion of the trust fund (to be called “The New Organ Fund”) as the Methodist Theological College Council shall consider necessary or desirable to set apart shall be set apart and appropriated for the acquisition of a new organ in the future when the Council shall consider it advisable to acquire such new organ for the Methodist Theological College at Auckland: Provided, however, that pending such acquisition of a new organ the income from the New Organ Fund, or such part of such income as the Council shall determine, may, at the discretion of the Council, be applied either in or towards the upkeep, repair, maintenance, and insurance of the organ donated to the Council by the Trustees of the Grafton Road Methodist Church and in providing music therefor, or in accumulating the said income and any unexpended portion thereof as an accretion to the New Organ Fund.
(ii) The balance of the trust fund shall be applied in or towards the cost of erecting and furnishing a library in the Methodist Theological College at Auckland and placing therein a suitable tablet commemorating the gift of the said John Edson.
(b) If and whenever it shall appear to the Council that the New Organ Fund has, with any accretions thereto, amounted in value to a sum in excess of what may be reasonably necessary for the objects above mentioned, then the Council may, with the consent and concurrence of the Conference of the Methodist Church of New Zealand, apply any surplus of such fund either as a whole or in part to such other objects in connection with and for the benefit of the Methodist Theological College at Auckland as the Council may determine and the Conference shall approve.
(c) The Guardian Trust and Executors Company of New Zealand, Limited, may at any time hereafter, upon the request of the Council, pay and transfer the trust fund to the Council, and thereupon the said company shall be discharged from all its obligations and duties arising thereout or in connection therewith.
And notice is hereby given that copies of the said Bill will be deposited in the Office of the Examiner of Standing Orders within fourteen days after the commencement of the session.
