HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Military Forces.
COMMAND.
Major J. McC. Power, N.Z. Army Service Corps, is appointed to command the Central Depot, N.Z.A.S.C. Dated 25th March, 1928.
STAFF.
Lieutenant (local Captain) S. Gibbons, the Durham Light Infantry, on exchange from the British Army in India, having left New Zealand and on return to India, relinquishes his appointment as Area Officer, Area 6B, and Adjutant, Manawatu Mounted Rifles, and the local rank of Captain. Dated 24th April, 1928.
N.Z. PERMANENT AIR FORCE.
Captain L. M. Isitt, having returned from his tour of duty with the Royal Air Force in England, ceases to be seconded, and is attached for instructional duties to the Wigram Aerodrome. Dated 28th February, 1928.
Captain L. M. Isitt ceases to be attached, and is appointed Officer Commanding Hobsonville Aerodrome. Dated 17th April, 1928.
THE WELLINGTON EAST COAST MOUNTED RIFLES.
Quartermaster and Captain J. R. T. Slipper to be Quartermaster and Major. Dated 1st January, 1928.
THE REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
2nd Lieutenant H. McC. Taylor, 12th Field Battery, to be Lieutenant. Dated 1st May, 1928.
Frank Charles Rawle to be 2nd Lieutenant, 20th Pack Battery. Dated 1st October, 1927.
THE N.Z. INFANTRY.
The Auckland Regiment (Countess of Ranfurly's Own).
The appointments of the undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants (on probation) are confirmed:—

The Taranaki Regiment.
2nd Lieutenant (on probation) H. G. Whitehead ceases to be seconded to the 1st C Battalion, and is seconded for duty with the 2nd C Battalion, with his original seniority. Dated 19th April, 1928.
The Hawke's Bay Regiment.
Lieutenant J. H. Conly, from the Otago Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority as from the 30th May, 1927, and is seconded for duty with the 4th C Battalion. Dated 1st May, 1928.
