CITY OF AUCKLAND.
THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the body corporate called The Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a public street and highway, and that a plan of the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Queen Street, Auckland, and may be inspected there (without fee) during office hours: And further notice is hereby given that unless within forty days from the 20th day of April, 1928, being the date of the first publication of this notice, any written objection to the taking of such land is sent to the Town Clerk aforesaid, the Auckland City Council shall forthwith proceed to take the said land for such public work.
THE SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land, situated in the City of Auckland, containing 27·9 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 79 on deposited plan 21239 (Auckland Land Registry Office) of Allotment 24 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in Block XVI of the Waitemata Survey District.

THE AUCKLAND DREDGING COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of sections 230 and 252 of the Companies’ Act, 1908, that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at Room No. 33, 3rd Floor, National Bank Chambers, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Thursday, 17th May, 1928, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.
And notice is also given that ALFRED ERNEST LINDUP was duly appointed to be Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
