Notice by the Public Trustee under The Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part III, and its Amendments.

WHEREAS it has been reported to the Public Trustee that Alan Francis Lund (also known as Alan Frederick Lund or Alan Lund), of the City of Auckland, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Drapery Hand, is the owner of the following property :-

Cash at credit of bank accounts : (a) Auckland Savings-bank, £80 4s. 3d.; (b) Union Bank of Australia, 4d. Realty : (a) Lot 7, D.P. 16354, being part of Allotment 6, Parish of Waiheke, containing 32·1 perches, more or less; (b) Lot 12, D.P. 15893, being part Allotment 15, Section 1, Parish of Takapuna, containing 36·5 perches, more or less, purchased under agreement for sale and purchase dated 31st July, 1924 ; (c) Lot 296, D.P. 18037, Town of Papatoetoe Extension No. 28, being part of Clendon's Grant, situated in the Parish of Papakura, containing 1 rood 13·4 perches, more or less, purchased under agreement for sale and purchase dated 20th November, 1923. And whereas it is provided, inter alia, by Part III of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed property) as amended by section 41 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, that when it is not known where the owner of any real or personal property is, or whether he is alive or dead, a Judge of the Supreme Court may, on application ex parte of the Public Trustee, make an order authorizing the Public Trustee to exercise all or any of the powers contained in section 87 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908. And whereas it is not known where the said Alan Francis Lund is, or whether he is alive or dead: And whereas by an order made on the 4th April, 1928, a Judge of the Supreme Court authorized the Public Trustee to exercise in respect of the property of the said Alan Francis Lund all or any of the powers set forth in section 87 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, other than the power contained in subsection (i) of the said section :

Now, the Public Trustee hereby gives notice that it is his intention to exercise in respect of the property of the said Alan Francis Lund the powers above mentioned as set forth and defined in the said order.
