HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve that the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette dated 9th June, 1921, relative to the constitution of commands and regimental districts, be amended by altering the headquarters of No. 8 Regimental District to read “ New Plymouth ” instead of “ Hawera.”

Formation of a Cadet Battalion.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve, under section 6 (a), Defence Act, 1909, of the formation of the undermentioned Cadet Battalion :—
The Wellington Regiment.
5th Cadet Battalion, with headquarters at Wellington.

Dismissals from the Forces.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has approved of the dismissal of the undermentioned soldiers of the Territorial Force from the New Zealand Defence Forces under section 6 (b), Defence Act, 1909, they having been convicted by the Civil power :—
