Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces amended.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five; and I do hereby declare that the amendment hereby made shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NEW ZEALAND MILITARY FORCES.

Section VI.-Pay and Allowances of the N.Z. Territorial Force and Reserve; All Ranks.

AFTER paragraph 119 add the following:-

“119A. Extra-duty pay at the rate of 2s. 6d. per diem shall be admissible for one farrier sergeant per squadron of Mounted Rifles for each day on which he is actually employed on farrier work.”

Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Rakaia, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
