ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of April, 1928.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of the street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, it being inexpedient to lay off such street of a width of sixty-six feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 24 perches, more or less, through Allotment 282, Town of Whau South, Block VII, Titirangi Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69749, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of April, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Timaru Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the street described in the Schedule hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty-nine feet six inches, it being inexpedient to lay off such street of a width of sixty-six feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT street connecting Seddon Street and Kitchener Square in the Canterbury Land District, Borough of Timaru, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 9 perches, more or less, through Lot 1, D.P. 495, and Lot 55, D.P. 2029. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71316, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Consenting under the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, to the Raising of a Loan by the Wellington College and Girls’ High School Board of Governors.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of April, 1928.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the borrowing by the Wellington College and Girls’ High School Board of Governors of the sum of fifty thousand pounds for the purpose of renewing a loan which matured on the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, subject to the following conditions:—

That the term for which the loan is borrowed shall not exceed ten years.

That the rate of interest payable in respect of the said loan shall not exceed six pounds per centum per annum.

That the said sum shall be borrowed on terms requiring repayment of principal by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments of principal and interest over a period not exceeding ten years.

Consenting under the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, to the Raising of a Loan by the Dannevirke Borough Council.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of April, 1928.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the borrowing by the Dannevirke Borough Council of the sum of eight hundred pounds for the purpose of providing its proportion of the cost of constructing the Mangatera Stream Bridge, subject to the following conditions:—

That the term for which the loan is borrowed shall not exceed twenty-five years.

That the local authority shall, before borrowing the said sum or any part thereof, make provision for the repayment thereof by establishing a sinking fund of not less than two per centum per annum, calculated on the amount raised.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan by the Waipawa Hospital Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of April, 1928.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Waipawa Hospital Board has obtained, in terms of section fourteen of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, exemption from the requirements of that Act in respect of the Hospital Buildings Loan of Ten thousand Pounds:
And whereas application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the said local authority to borrow the sum of ten thousand pounds, and it is expedient that such precedent consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loan of ten thousand pounds by the Waipawa Hospital Board, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loan.
